Tinker & Rasor introduces the completely redesigned Model AP/W high voltage holiday detector. The Model AP/W has built upon the advancements of the Model APS and packaged them into a belt worn instrument to provide a holiday detector with the application flexibility to move from pipe, to tank, to concrete and beyond. This pulsating DC holiday detector with regulated voltage* has a range of 800 volts to 35,000 volts, giving complete coverage for coating specifications.

The AP/W includes
Square cut, tightly wound steel wire, for tight fit and intimate contact to coatings applied to pipelines. Made for use on pipelines, the Full Circle Spring Electrode will inspect the entire coated surface of the pipe in one pass. Available sizes, based on outside diameter of the pipeline, are 4” to 48” , in 2” increments.
Contact Farwest for pipeline electrodes greater than 48” in diameter.
